So how’s this for a claim…Author Lee Baucom claims that the advice and methods he teaches in Save The Marriage actually work for close to 90% of those who apply them…there is no doubt this percentage is quite high! I honestly don’t know whether or not this is true (and really not sure how the author can measure this!), but I have no doubt these strategies work as most of them are quite solid…
Let me give you some more information…
Product Review And Findings:
Let me give you the bottom line upfront - Save The Marriage and the strategies taught inside this book are solid. Again I’m not sure about that 90% success rate the author quotes, but I wouldn’t doubt the success rate is high. One of things I like most about Save The Marriage is that Lee Baucom is not some unknown “Internet only” marriage counselor. The guy has over 20 years of real world experience, and that says quite a bit! Another huge plus of this book is the fact that Baucom specifically addresses the problem of how to save your marriage even when your spouse doesn’t want to. This is a common problem and it’s nice to see Baucom tackles it head on (and quite convincingly I might add!).
One negative of the book though is that it seems to go against traditional marriage counseling at all costs. Don’t get me wrong, much of traditional marriage counseling is flawed and folks like Baucom are right to call that out. However he seems to “throw out the baby with the bathwater” here, claiming that *all* traditional marriage counseling and therapy strategies and techniques are almost useless.
But again, the bottom line is that the quality and content overall is excellent, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t stand behind and recommend Save The Marriage.
